Introduction 


The Indian Premier League is the most known cricket tournament in India. As cricket enthusiasts eagerly await for commencement of the 17th edition of the tournament, it is possibly scheduled for March 23, 2024 and the last match will possibly be held on May 29, 2024. The tournament takes place every year organised by the BCCI, and this year the TATA will sponsor the Tata IPL 2024 and that’s why it’s called the TATA Indian Premier League Tournament 2024. In addition to TATA common known brands like DREAM11, CRED, UPSTOX, RUPAY and Herbalife have sponsored the IPL. 


A total of ten teams will participate in the Tata IPL 2024 match after the BCCI added two new teams before IPL 2022 to the Tata IPL 2024. The Indian Premier League 2024 format will be the same as the IPL 2022 and 2023. 


With a total of seventy four matches, eight teams will represent different cities. Each team will play against each other two times, once at home and another time away in the group stages. The battle will determine the top four teams in the league to advance to the playoffs, then top teams from the playoffs will go head to head to determine the Indian Premier League 2024 champion. 


The IPL 2024 auction of the 10 teams was held on the 19th December 2023 released players for these teams. This blog will discuss and help you understand the expected schedule of the TATA IPL 2024, teams and expected venues.

Below is the expected schedule of the Indian Premier League 2024, waiting for the statement from the BCCI.
